Here’s a quote from one of the people attending the gathering.
“ I spoke with you over the week-end and shared that the Lord had shown me a revelation
after the Cry of His Heart outreach on the Lummi reservation. I shared that the pastor who had the “Cry in his own Heart” about the gathering especially needed to hear this, because it was a huge encouragement to him specifically from the Lord but, of course, also to the rest of us.
First of all, my family went thru’ tremendous warfare the day before the gathering (as I am sure many did). It was to a point where the enemy was attempting to cause us not to go. I told my husband that we couldn’t go on ‘emotions’ at that point, that it was SO important that our family come in regalia and dance for the Lord. All I can say is thank you, I know that others were blessed from the gathering, but I am here to say thank you to all those who took part in interceding and also physical preparation because my husband, myself and our two sons were blessed out of our socks!! (or should I say mocassins!!)
When the gathering was ending, I went to walk out to the car to get a change of clothes and it had started to rain-a cold, chilling rain. The next morning during devotion the Lord directed me to a note in my bible on the North wind and two scriptures were included. The first was Proverbs 25: 23 -”As a north wind brings RAIN.” The second scripture was in Song of Songs 4:16-”AWAKE, north wind”. As the pastor with the cry in his heart had spoken in the meeting, there is a lot of work to do to bring more people together, the Lord was saying that this “Cry of His Heart” gathering was an “AWAKENING.” This was a “BEGINNING” of God’s people waking up to gather in unity and seek HIM!!! Praise God for all HE has done and is doing in this time!! We are truly grateful!!! Blessings to you,”
We really had a great time in the Lord, several congregations praying and working together to make this gathering happen. The presence of the Lord was so sweet. We look forward to returning in the near future. We want to thank Johnny & Laurie for all their efforts in spear heading the event, Pastor Russell for his generous support and hospitality, Pastor Vennie for facilitating the evening session and Jason Hubbard and Light of His Word House of Prayer for their prayer support. We feel honored have been a part of this inaugural gathering.
September 17 & 18 Auburn WA, Women of Destiny Conference
This was a great first time event. There was small group attending but the presence of the Holy Spirit was great. We look forward to working with Brenda Hamilton and her team in the future.
